Living Waters~ Intelligent Design in the Oceans {Product Review}

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of reviewing two films from the Design of Life series by FishFlix.com. When the third film in the series Living Waters: Intelligent Design in the Oceans of the Earth was available for review, I leaped on the chance to add another potential excellent nature documentary to our collection!

Our review team was allowed to pick from the list above--I chose to review Living Waters with my family.

What Are Our Thoughts?

As with our last experience with FishFlix.com films, we just loved Living Waters (retail $13.99). We found the cinematography to be superb and at the same quality of any other popular nature documentary. As is touted, the movie does show how there is evidence of an Intelligent Designer in creation, by taking a close look at four water dwelling creatures: salmon, sea turtles, dolphins and the humpback whale. Each of the creatures has at least one unique characteristic that clearly points to a designer rather than an evolutionary process and the video looks closely at them through computer animation and explanations from scientists.
My husband and I really appreciate how clearly and simply the film lays out the reasons for why they believe creation itself points to an intelligent designer. It's really interesting the way they use the laws of the evolutionary theory to disprove that evolution was even possible in each of these creatures. Love-of-My-Life and I still reference the simplicity of the explanations because they are so easy to understand.
We just returned home from the beach where we experienced dolphins, jellyfish and yes, even the sea turtles! The boys enjoyed seeing more about the sea turtles since we visited the Georgia Sea Turtle Rescue Center on October 2nd. It was a great epilogue to our trip!
I plan on using these videos in the future to help teach biology from an Intelligent Designer viewpoint when we are studying marine creatures. They as well as our two previous films in the series have earned their rightful place in our DVD library.

Would I Recommend This Product?

One word...absolutely!
But to add more, it is a wonderful movie for families seeking an Intelligent Design oriented nature documentary. The movie is such high quality cinematography you will thoroughly enjoy watching it!
If you are NOT a believer of Intelligent Design, you probably won't enjoy it as much since this film is about glorifying an Intelligent Designer as the Creator, and thus disproving the probability of evolution.

We are so thrilled that this movie was at the same stellar quality as the other two we reviewed and that it too showcased the awesome detail and care that our Creator put into His magnificent and beautiful creation. It definitely joined the other two films as must-haves on our DVD shelf!
