Happy Friday!
As many of my regular readers know, I'm a HUGE history buff. I love it. I can't get enough of it. I also am a music lover. We incorporate music into our home as much as possible--especially into our homeschooling. I recently was given the opportunity to meld the two together-- learning History THROUGH Music!
I'm part of an incredible group of homeschooling bloggers working with the incredible Diana Waring to launch a new series: Experience History Through Music by Diana Waring! She has crafted a brilliant series of books w/CD’s taking events from history and connecting them with the music of the time! Have you read the Little House on the Prairie Books? If you have, then you know that Laura continuously mentions her Pa's fiddle and the music he plays...but do you know the songs? What about the songs of the pioneers that were sung by our ancestors as they established our country? What did they dance to? What did they hum? You will be able to learn all this and MORE (old photos!!!) from this exciting new series—perfect for adding to your homeschool history collection---or to enjoy by any history buff!
To celebrate the release of Experience History Through Music, I am joining members of the Diana Waring Launch Team for an amazing giveaway. Friends of Diana have joined in and as you can see, someone's homeschool is going to be greatly blessed!
Here's what you could win!
