Once again, I am thrilled to be able to review another amazing audiodrama from Heirloom Audio! This story brought to life a time in history I know every little about and it made me eager to search our more information about the time period. Unlike some of the other Heirloom Audio productions, the theme of this particular story really stuck with me and applied to my life right away. So I encourage you to stick around and read more about the latest release based on a novel by G.A. Henty...St. Bartholomew's Eve!
Brrrr. Hello from a blustery chilly NE Kentucky. I believe the weather got all screwed up and jumped from summer to late fall/early winter! This is not the fall I know and love! I need the brisk mornings that warm up into lovely 60-70 degree days! Not cold and damp and dreary! Who knows what's going to come next?! But on the bright side, this weather just makes me want to hang out inside watching Netflix and working on my crochet projects! So I decided to share a few updates in my little crochet world for those who like to see what I'm working on...AND photos of the beautiful FibreShare package I received from my partner in Wales!
Although my oldest son is only twelve years old, it’s not too early to help him think about the things that he might like to do when he gets older. He has a lot of strengths and things he enjoys doing, and I’d like to show him how he can use those when picking a career for the future. We were recently given CashCrunch Careers from CashCrunch Games to review. My son and I both explored what this program has to offer and I’d like to share our review with you today.
I’m always looking for resources to assist in my personal Bible study, and for our school Bible lessons. We’ve recently been able to review the Book-By-Book Bible Printables from Teach Sunday School, and I’d like to take some time today to share our thoughts on this Bible resource.
For the last several weeks, my son has been working through the book Forensic Faith for Kids from David C Cook and Case Makers Academy. This book is designed to help your children learn how to defend their Christian faith based on evidence. Because this is something that I believe is very important for any Christian to be able to do, I was curious about the book and today am sharing my review.
I can't believe that it's already been over a week since my last check in--but here we are, on our journey home. I'm actually typing this still about 5 1/2 hours away. We are almost 2 hrs behind our schedule because of an unfortunate inconvenience...puke.
