UPCOMING REVIEWS FOR JUNE 2018
1. Something Fishy at Lake Iwannafisha (The Critical Thinking Co.)
The Critical Thinking Co. is a best selling publisher for workbooks and products that promote...critical thinking! LOL. We've reviewed some of their excellent material in the past, and we are doing it again. This time we are reviewing a detective style book. My son will work as a police detective to solve this fun and engaging crime mystery. The book and activities teaches basic forensic information and how it is used to solve crimes. Using the lessons and his brain, my son will then have to work through the mystery to determine who committed the crimes. This is a great workbook for us heading into our summer break! My review will be going LIVE the week of June 4th, 2018.
2. New American Cursive 2 (Memoria Press)
We are thrilled to have another Memoria Press product in house. This time it is the New American Cursive 2 (Scriptures) to use with my youngest son (age 7). It is for children who already have basic cursive skills that just need "refined". I am curious to see how my son improves with this book. My review will be going LIVE the week of June 5th, 2018.
3. ARTistic Pursuits Full Video Lessons by ARTistic Pursuits
My youngest son is MOST excited with this review product. He's been bugging me and bugging me to work on it. We are reviewing a book from the NEW line of art curriculum by ARTistic Pursuits. This line has full video lessons to with the book! We are doing the Art of the Middle Ages book. My review will be going LIVE the week of June 11, 2018
4. White House Holidays Unit Studies by Silverdale Press
We are going to be reviewing a series of Unit Studies from the White House Holidays Unit Studies from Silverdale Press. There are 6 unit studies in this product, but we will be focusing on two of them: Labor Day and Veterans Day. Our review will go LIVE the week of June 19, 2018.
5. The Master and His Apprentices
This is a high school art history curriculum that I am working on myself. Unlike most art history programs, this one comes from a Christian worldview, and you aren't going to find it loaded with the typical "naked" pictures or other questionable art pieces found in most other art history programs. I also like that it's digital, so I can just use my Kindle for the textbook! I don't do very many reviews for myself, but I am looking forward to working through this one. I am also going to have my mother-in-law take a peek--she majored in Art History, so I would like her opinion on it. I am looking forward to sharing my review on this product when it goes LIVE the week of June 26, 2018.
6. Hake/Saxon Grammar and Writing 3 by Hake Publishing
This is a BRAND NEW addition to the Saxon Grammar and Writing family geared at third grade. My youngest is working through this curriculum. We've never used a Saxon product before, but I know that the company is very popular in the homeschooling community. I look forward to sharing the review of this curriculum with you when it goes LIVE the week of June 27, 2018.
Other members of my review team are going to be sharing their reviews of MaxScholar this month as well.
UPCOMING REVIEW FOR JULY 2018
7. Bible Study Guide for All Ages
We are enjoying using the Intermediate and Advanced levels of the Bible Study Guide for All Ages every morning we do school. This is a unique style of bible study which seems to be geared very much towards kids. It's been nice to work through it with BOTH boys at the same time, while they work through grade level books. I look forward to sharing our review of this item when it goes LIVE the week of July 9, 2018.

Well there you have it! The beginning of our summer reviews. So far we don't have very much, and the boys will be finishing some of it by the end of the month, giving them even MORE free time. The only things we do all summer long is READING and MATH. I love using our Life of Fred math books for our summer math practice!
I hope you have an awesome first week of June! If you haven't checked out everything we've got going on here on the farm yet, make sure you go and read THIS POST to see how busy our June is already shaping up to be!
