Poetry. I really do enjoy reading good poetry and want to expose my children to quality poetry. But sometimes it can be difficult to work it into our homeschooling unless we are using a Language Arts program that has it built in. Sorrow {Wordless Wednesday}

Sadly, I spent my morning comforting my boys. My oldest went to feed the cats and discovered one of them on the road. It was devastating to him. So we spent some time grieving this morning.

Drive Thru History ~ Acts to Revelation {Product Review}
Last year we were introduced to the amazing Dave Stotts and Drive Thru History®, when we reviewed The Gospels curriculum. My boys quickly fell in love with the program and Dave Stotts. When we had a chance to review the newest addition to the Drive Thru History® family, Drive Thru History® "Acts to Revelation", we were very eager to go on a trip through the New Testament with Dave as our guide again.

ARTistic Pursuits: Video Lessons to Explore Art of the Modern Age {Product Review}

I don't regularly schedule in art in our homeschool. I love art, but with my boys, it's just not a priority. Yet, thanks to several reviews I have done, I have collected a whole host of supplies to handle just about any type of art lesson that comes our way. We have reviewed several art programs before, and have discovered that we really enjoy the curriculum from ARTistic Pursuits Inc.. This company released a new collection of K-3rd Grade Level, Volumes 1-8 last year (adding 7 and 8 in late 2018) to give an additional aspect to their already fabulous art program. We have been reviewing Art of the Modern Age, K-3 Vol. 7 from this collection over the last several weeks with my youngest son.

Charlotte's Web and Spiders: Exploring a Unit Study from Homeschool Complete {Curriculum Review}

HOMESCHOOL COMPLETE UNIT STUDIES {A REVIEW}
We are a family with experience in Unit Studies. I’ve learned over the years that we enjoy the freedom they give to explore topics over a wide range of subjects. Over the last several weeks, we have been reviewing the Spider study in the Unit Studies collection from Homeschool Complete. I picked this topic because it was about something my youngest son (age 8) loved to learn about, and looked forward to a whole unit study revolving around it. Did the unit study live up to our expectations? Was this another company that we would continue to use for further unit studies? Today, I’m going to be sharing my review with you to answer these very questions!
